HP Dental Health Services and Welfare society is registered in HP under
Himachal Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2006 (Act no 25 of 2006) with the purpose to uplift dentistry levels in HP.
Brief on Society's background
As a brief background, a union of dentists was established in 2010. This union worked hard to bring the dentists of Himachal together at one platform and since then, the union has been working for dentistry and dentist including a successful revival of batch-wise policy and the last commission and recruitment for the year 2017-18. This was a long phase of struggle which finally got paid in 2020 and the union was finally registered as a society under the provisions of the HP Societies Registration Act, 2006 (Act #25 of 2006) on 19 Jun 2020.
Our Honorable Health Minister
Dr. Rajiv Saizal Son of Shri Satgur Dass was born on 11th July 1971 at Haripur-Khol, Distt, Sirmour, (B.A.M.S) Medical Practitioner, and current Health & Family Welfare and Ayurveda Minister of Government of Himachal Pradesh. Saizal is a member of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Kasauli constituency in Solan district.
